Dr. Littleton studied Medicine at Jesus College Cambridge and University College London, and he graduated in 1996. He has trained in several London hospitals, including the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery at Queen Square. In October 2011 and After completing specialist training in Neurology, Dr. Littleton was appointed Consultant Neurologist at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham, the UK and he is one of 5 Consultants who run the Acute Stroke and Transient Ischaemic Attack service there. He undertook research at the Institute of Molecular Medicine in Oxford between 2001 and 2007. He was awarded a DPhil from the University of Oxford. His DPhil thesis was entitled “Autoantibodies in Multiple Sclerosis”.
