Dr. Nikolaos Papageorgiou is a highly accomplished cardiologist with extensive expertise in clinical practice, research, and academia. He completed his Doctor of Medicine (MD) and (PhD) degrees at Athens University Medical School in Greece, followed by specialized training in Cardiology in Athens, Greece. Dr. Papageorgiou holds certifications from prestigious medical associations, including full registration with the General Medical Council in the UK and the Medical Association of Athens, Greece, as well as Approbation als Artzt from the Medical Association of Berlin, Germany.

With a distinguished career spanning over a decade, Dr. Papageorgiou has held various positions in leading medical institutions across Europe. Currently, he serves as a Consultant Cardiologist at both Lister Hospital in Stevenage and Barts Heart Centre at St. Bartholomew’s Hospital in London, where he specializes in acute cardiac care and cardiac electrophysiology, respectively. Additionally, he holds an Honorary Associate Professorship at UCL University College of London, contributing to the advancement of cardiovascular science and education.
