Dr. Pankaj Punia graduated from India in 1998. Then he got his general medical training at Leeds teaching hospitals and and South Manchester University Hospitals, UK. He was trained medical oncology at Saint James Institute of Oncology, Leeds, UK. Now he is a consultant medical oncologist at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, Birmingham, UK. Before he commencing his job at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham, UK, he worked as a Senior lecturer/ honorary consultant at St James Institute of Oncology, Leeds, UK. Dr. Punia specialises in treatment of primary and secondary liver cancers, cholangiocarcinoma, pancreatic cancer and colorectal cancer. He is a principal investigator in a number of ongoing national and international clinical trials in hepatobiliary and colorectal cancers.
