Prof. Maingon graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Dijon in France in 1988. Dr. MAINGON was interested in medical research, especially in the field of oncology and their treatment. He studied head and neck tumors at the University of Paris sud University (Paris XI), France. He studied statistics at the University of Besançon until he obtained a Certificate in Statistics and Computerized Data Management for Clinical Research in Medicine in 1988. Prof. Maingon was appointed as Assistant Physician at Dijon University Hospital in1989. To complete his interest, he obtained a Master's degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology in 1991 from Dijon University, Dijon, France. Prof. Maingon worked as a specialist in radiation oncology in the Department of Radiation Therapy 1992 - 2000 at the Georges Francois Center in Dijon, France, during which he became a professor in Radiation Oncology at Dijon University France in 2000 and then he became a professor at The Sorbonne University in 2016. He became the Head of the Department of Radiation Oncology at the Georges Francois Center in Dijon, France from 2000 to 2010, and he was also the Head of the Department of Radiation Oncology from 2016 to 2019 at the University Hospitals of Pitié Salpêtrière Charles Foix, Paris, France. Prof. Maingon is currently the Medical Director of the Oncology, Hematology, and Supportive Care Units, Faculty of Medicine, Sorbonne University, France. Prof. Maingon presented at many medical conferences and has many publications in the field of oncology and radiation therapy.
