Dr. Mark Richard Hager has obtained his Medical Degree from the University of South Florida College of Medicine. He further specialized in psychiatry during his residency at the University of South Florida Department of Psychiatry.

Dr. Hager is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, which he achieved in 2004. He has held various positions throughout his career. He has worked at the Manatee Glens Corporation in Bradenton, Florida, as a psychiatrist, providing various services such as inpatient psychiatry/substance abuse treatment, outpatient psychiatry, and outpatient detox. He was also involved in programs like the Clozaril Clinic, Life Style Assistance Modification Program, and Adult Residential Treatment. During this time, he also served as a psychiatric consultant at Blake Medical Center in Bradenton, Florida.

Throughout his career, Dr. Hager has been actively involved in teaching. He served as an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Medical Student Preceptor at the Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine. Additionally, he held teaching positions at the University of South Florida Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neurosciences, where he worked as an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor and a psychiatric resident preceptor. Similarly, he was an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor and Medical Student Preceptor at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine.
