He received a Diplomate from the National Board of Medical Examinations at All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, and Fellowships from the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh, and Intercollegiate Board of Surgical Specialties in the UK in both general and pediatric surgery
He has obtained a Fellowship from the European Board of Pediatric Surgery and the European Board of Pediatric Urology examinations. Subsequently, he obtained an MD from New York while doing an international visiting fellowship at the Children’s Hospital, MSKCC, New York, USA.
He has had several distinctions, honors, gold medals, scholarships, and prizes throughout his medical career. Dr. Patel has extensive experience in teaching nursing, medical students, residents, and fellows in training in continuing professional development.
