In addition to her extensive doctorate-level degree and education in Greece, Prof. Markoula has worked in the field of Epilepsy across other countries including the UK and Sweden.
Prof. Markoula has received extensive training in EEG, Neuroimaging, Genetics and Pharmacogenomics in Epilepsy. Therefore, she is most suited to take on the most complex epilepsy cases.
She has received many international recognition awards for her research which is widely-recognized as great contribution to the Epilepsy community.
