Dr. Vasileios Minas is a Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist, boasting training from some of the largest and most esteemed hospitals in the United Kingdom. His specialization lies in Minimally Invasive Gynaecological Surgery and the management of endometriosis at the tertiary level.

As the Co-Director of CEMIG (Centre for Endometriosis and Minimally Invasive Gynaecology), Dr. Minas oversees operations at one of the largest Endometriosis Centers in the UK, renowned internationally for its minimally invasive gynecological treatments. He is globally recognized as a tertiary endometriosis surgeon, particularly acclaimed for routinely performing advanced excisional surgery for severe recto-vaginal endometriosis.

Dr. Minas also serves as the College Tutor (Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists) for the department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology at St. Peter’s Hospital. In this capacity, he coordinates and oversees the training of 20 trainees in the specialty.

Having been one of the five nationally appointed trainees in Advanced Laparoscopic Gynaecological Surgery in the UK for the year 2012, Dr. Minas has honed his core obstetric and gynaecological skills in the Oxford Deanery, including at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford, renowned as a Center of Excellence for training in Obstetrics & Gynaecology. He further developed his advanced laparoscopic and obstetric skills at the Wirral University Teaching Hospital, a pioneering unit in Advanced Laparoscopic and Robotic Gynaecological Surgery.

Dr. Minas has successfully completed his PhD thesis in reproductive gynaecology and boasts an impressive portfolio of over 40 papers published in peer-reviewed international journals.
