Dr. Wayne Ellis is a distinguished audiologist with expertise in treating both adults and children. He stands out as one of the select consultants trained across all branches of audiology, including the specialized field of auditory implants and complexed hearing and balance disorders encompassing cochlear, middle ear, and bone conduction implants. Dr. Ellis holds a dual registration with the Health and Care Professions Council, recognized as both a Clinical Scientist in Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispenser.

His academic journey commenced at the University of Cambridge, where he obtained his degree in natural sciences, followed by a master's degree in Audiology from the University of Southampton in 2006, where he was honored with the D. W. Robinson Prize for the best dissertation in the human sciences.

Dr. Ellis strengthened his qualifications by finishing additional training at The Royal Berkshire Hospital in Reading, resulting in him obtaining his Certificate of Audiological Competence (CAC).

Currently serving as the Audiology Professional Manager at The Royal National ENT Hospital in London, alongside his responsibilities at OneWelbeck ENT, Dr. Ellis also holds the role of Clinical Scientist of Auditory Implants at the NHS Foundation Trust in London.

Committed to the advancement of his field, Dr. Ellis has dedicated himself to training and professional development, having contributed eight years of service on the British Society of Audiology Professional Practice Committee.
