Dr. Steven H. Silverman, M.D., F.A.C.S., is a distinguished vascular surgeon with over three decades of experience in vascular and endovascular surgery, wound care, and interventional techniques. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the University of Florida in 1978 and his MD from the University of Miami School of Medicine in 1983. He then completed a surgical residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center (1983–1989) and a vascular surgery fellowship at the University of Florida (1989–1990).

Dr. Silverman has held prominent leadership positions, including Chief of Surgery at Sarasota Memorial Hospital, Medical Director of Wound Management at Doctors Hospital, and Clinical Associate Professor of Vascular Surgery at LECOM (Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine). His expertise includes vascular and endovascular surgery, complex wound care, limb salvage, and interventional procedures. He is actively involved in clinical research, medical education, and mentorship, having served as a preceptor for multiple medical and PA programs.

He has received numerous prestigious awards, including Castle Connolly’s "Top Doctors in Vascular Surgery" (2014–2023), multiple Patients’ Choice and Compassionate Doctor Awards, and recognition in America’s Top Surgeons. His contributions extend to clinical research, national presentations, and publications in vascular surgery and endovascular interventions.
