Prof. Dr. med. Ahmed El Damaty is a German board-certified neurosurgeon and Head of the Pediatric Neurosurgery Division at Heidelberg University Hospital. With over 18 years of clinical experience, he specializes in pediatric brain and spinal tumors, fetal surgery for spina bifida, hydrocephalus management, and craniosynostosis. He has pioneered intrauterine repairs for myelomeningocele in Germany and has authored more than 60 peer-reviewed publications.
