Dr. Caitlin E. Hoffman is an accomplished pediatric neurosurgeon with over 15 years of experience. She earned her medical degree from Weill Cornell Medical College and completed her neurosurgery residency and chief residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital. Further specializing in pediatric neurosurgery, Dr. Hoffman completed a prestigious fellowship at The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) in Toronto. Her areas of expertise include pediatric epilepsy surgery, craniofacial surgery, and the application of focused ultrasound for treating refractory epilepsy. Dr. Hoffman has held leadership roles in advancing pediatric neurosurgical care and continues to push the boundaries of innovative surgical approaches.

Currently serving as Associate Professor of Neurological Surgery at Weill Cornell Medicine, Dr. Hoffman also holds prominent hospital appointments at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, New York Presbyterian Hospital, and the Hospital for Special Surgery. She is the Director of Pediatric Epilepsy Surgery and Craniofacial Surgery at Weill Cornell, as well as Director of the ACPNF-accredited Pediatric Neurosurgery Fellowship. Dr. Hoffman’s clinical practice focuses on the surgical management of craniosynostosis, epilepsy, and congenital neurological conditions, combining advanced diagnostics with minimally invasive techniques to improve outcomes for her patients.

Dr. Hoffman is a dedicated educator, actively involved in teaching at Weill Cornell and affiliated institutions. She mentors residents, fellows, and medical students, while also contributing to global neurosurgery education programs, including annual courses in Tanzania.
