Dr. John Nixon is an Orthopaedic Consultant in Greater Glasgow and Clyde area in Scotland, working across three sites (Inverclyde Royal Hospital, Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley and Vale of Leven Hospital). He specializes in shoulder surgery and upper limb trauma. He manages a wide range of conditions around the upper limb, including sporting injuries as well as degenerative conditions of the shoulder and elbow. He has completed an MSc in Orthopaedic engineering with a specialist interest in rotator cuff pathology. He is a Fellow of the European Board of Orthopaedics and trauma (FEBOT) He deals with upper limb elective and trauma. He is passionate about general trauma, as well as specialized upper limb trauma. He is devoted to providing high-class clinical services for the patients, while at the same time empowering younger colleagues and other members of staff, to reach their full potential.
