Practicing for more than a decade, Doctor Buddhdev has undertaken fellowship training with leading British, North American and Australia orthopedic specialists giving him a wide scope of practice, encompassing all aspects of pediatric orthopedic conditions.

Doctor Buddhdev is a Consultant Pediatric Orthopedic & Young Adult Hip Surgeon at Mid & South Essex trust & and he holds an honorary contract at Addenbrooks Hospital, Cambridge.
Graduating from Royal Free & University College Medical School in 2008, he maximized his exposure to pediatric orthopedics throughout his career as a SE London higher-surgical trainee, gaining experience in the multiple sub-specialties including neuromuscular, trauma, foot & ankle, sports knee and hip preservation surgery.
Doctor Buddhdev completed the Pediatric Orthopedic & Young Adult Hip fellowship at the Royal National Orthopedic Hospital, Stanmore and an international Pediatric Orthopedic Fellowship at the world-renowned Royal Children’s Hospital, Melbourne. He was awarded the International Hip Preservation Society Travelling Fellowship in 2019, allowing him to fine-tune his specialist hip preservation and arthroscopy skills at key institutions including Inselpital in Bern, Switzerland, The Steadman Sports Clinic in Vail and Boston Children’s Hospital (Harvard).
He has spearheaded multiple clinical improvement projects, demonstrating his commitment to improving patient safety, efficiency, and satisfaction through the use of the most advanced and up to date methods in treatment.
Mr. Buddhdev plays a strong role in education, setting on the education committee of the British Society of Children's Orthopedic Surgeons, as podcast host of #ThePaedipodsCast and producer of the Pediatric Orthopedic Digest, and as faculty on numerous regional, national and international surgical courses for orthopedic trainees and surgeons.
