Dr. Martin is a highly accomplished Pediatric Urologist with extensive education and training in the field. He received his undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University and went on to earn his Medical degree from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine. He completed his internship in General Surgery at Mayo Clinic in Phoenix, AZ, and his residency in Urology at Mayo Clinic in Phoenix, AZ. He then completed a Clinical Fellowship in Pediatric Urology at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, DC. His experience extends to more than 15 years.
He has received numerous awards and honors throughout his career, including LSU University Medalist, and Castle Connolly Top Doctor. He has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals and has been awarded several grants for his research.
Currently, He is an Attending Pediatric Urologist, faculty, and Telemedicine Medical Director at Children’s Hospital New Orleans, USA.
He is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Urological Association, the Society of Pediatric Urology, and the American Telemedicine Association. He is also a dedicated educator, teaching medical students and residents at Children’s Hospital.
