Dr Vincent Cardot is a full-time urologist with a focus on continence and functional urology. Over the past decade, he has concentrated on neuro-urology and both female and male urinary incontinence, routinely performing more than 120 sling procedures annually for SUI and implanting artificial urinary sphincters for intrinsic sphincter deficiency.
Beyond functional urology, Dr Cardot has advanced expertise in robotic and laparoscopic urologic oncology. Since 2010, he has performed approximately 1,200 robotic/laparoscopic procedures for kidney and prostate cancers, including radical prostatectomy and nephrectomy/partial nephrectomy.
He currently practices at Clinique Bizet in Paris and Pôle de Santé du Plateau in Meudon-la-Forêt, where he has worked since 2018 and 2006 respectively. He previously served at Assistance Publique–Hôpitaux de Paris, including Pitié-Salpêtrière Hospital (Assistant/Associate and Senior Urology Surgeon, 2005–2015), and earlier held post-residency roles at Saint-Louis Hospital and in visceral surgery at Pitié-Salpêtrière.
Dr Cardot completed medical studies at Université Paris VI (Saint-Antoine), followed by specialized diplomas including Urodynamics (1999), Urologic Cancerology (2007), and complementary diplomas (DESC) in Urologic Surgery (authorization in General Surgery, 2004) and in Cancerology—medical treatment for urologic cancer (2015). He is a long-standing member of the Female Urology & Pelviperineology Section of the French Association of Urology (since 2005).
