Dr. Elias I. Obeid is a board-certified medical oncologist and hematologist who specializes in breast cancer, Ovarian cancer, and prostate cancer. He is currently the Chair and Executive Director of the Saint Joseph Health Cancer Center in Hackensack, New Jersey, and an Assistant Professor of Clinical Genetics and Medical Oncology at Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dr. Elias I. Obeid is a medical oncologist and hematologist who specializes in breast cancer. He is currently the Chair and Executive Director of the Saint Joseph Health Cancer Center in Hackensack, New Jersey. He is also an Assistant Professor of Clinical Genetics and Medical Oncology at Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Obeid received his medical degree from the American University of Beirut School of Medicine in 2000. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Yale New Haven Medical Center in 2004 and his fellowship in medical oncology and hematology at the University of Chicago Medical Center in 2012. He also completed an advanced research fellowship in medical oncology at the University of Chicago Medical Center in 2013.
Dr. Obeid is a board-certified medical oncologist and is licensed to practice medicine in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He is a member of the American Association for Cancer Research, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, and the American College of Physicians.
Dr. Obeid's research interests include breast cancer risk assessment, prevention, and treatment. He has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals and has presented his research at national and international conferences. He is also the recipient of several awards for his research, including the Young Investigator Award from the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) Foundation in 2016.
