He is the longest serving Adnexal (Oculoplastic/Orbital/lacrimal) surgeon at Moorfields, treating children's (paediatric) adnexal conditions including watery eyes, droopy eyelids (potsis) & chalazia.
At Moorfields, Mr Uddin has been receiving tertiary referrals from across the UK and abroad; sees about 5,000 patients with thyroid eye disease every 10 years, as well as routine and complex orbital, oculoplastic and lacrimal cases. Mr Uddin has a busy and productive outpatient, surgical workload, as well as training and education roles.
As a Cambridge University graduate, he works in a number of top London hospitals (Moorfields Eye Hospital and St George's Hospital Medical School) and attends in his private practice at Moorfields, Wimpole St and Parkside Hospital, Wimbledon. He is a member of many prestigious boards and has worked and taught nationally and internationally always with the highest degree of patient care and advanced practice.
